Do. Prove. Progress.

A resume is a claim.
We record the doing.

Generative AI made resumes, certificates and test scores nearly free to fake. So recruiters fall back on the one signal that is cheap to check and means almost nothing — the name of your college.

The signal broke.
The demand didn't.

The test isn't measuring what a recruiter needs to know — can this person build it, watch it break, and explain what they did?

The product

One Run. Four stages.
One sitting.

This is the unit a college buys. Select a stage — one of them is the part nobody can prepare for.

A real task, not a puzzle

Forty-five minutes of scoped engineering work in a prepared environment, on a machine we reset before anyone sat down. No algorithm riddles — the kind of thing the job actually asks for.

Build a register endpoint. Validate the email, reject duplicates, return proper status codes.

The requirement changes, out loud

At minute twenty the proctor announces something nobody was told in advance. This is the only stage that cannot be prepared for, and it is the one a recruiter actually cares about — finishing a task can be taught, but what someone does when it breaks cannot.

Email can now arrive null. Your code must not crash. Ten minutes.

Five minutes, face to face

In the room, never over video. The questions are about the candidate's own code, on the screen in front of them. Code you did not write is code you cannot defend.

Line 34 — you used a loop instead of map. Why?

A record, not a rating

The DoerPass is a handling report with the recording attached: what they were given, what they did when it broke, and how the viva went. Deliberately not a score out of a thousand — a number gets optimised for, and a recording does not.

What a recruiter receives

A DoerPass is a record,
not a rating.

A single score invites comparison and gets gamed. A recording does not. The recruiter watches ninety seconds and decides for themselves, which means they never have to take our word for anything.

  • The task the candidate was given, and the fault that interrupted it
  • What they actually did when it broke — reproduce, guess, or freeze
  • Whether they could defend their own code, out loud, to a person

Illustrative. The first pilot has not run, so no real DoerPass exists yet.

Delivery

We come to your campus.

Your room. Your computers. Our proctors, our process, our task material. Students never travel — the lost day and the fare would fall hardest on exactly the students this exists for.

  • Students per batch 30
  • Time per batch 1 hr 40 min
  • Runs delivered per day 120
  • Proctors required 3
  • A 300-student college 2.5 days

Three proctors, because the viva is the bottleneck — thirty five-minute vivas is 150 proctor-minutes, not thirty.

What students told us

Everyone trusts their own resume.
Nobody trusts anyone else's.

10/15

trust that their own resume represents their ability accurately

4/15

are confident other students can do what their resume claims

That gap is the whole business. A resume is self-reported, and everyone already knows self-reporting is only trustworthy when it is their own. The market doesn't need convincing the instrument is broken — it needs a replacement it can defend to someone else.

All fifteen responses, and what they don't prove
Next step

The first pilot is free.

We are looking for one college to run the first batch with, at no cost. You watch the whole session, you get every report, and there is no commitment beyond that one batch.
